Returning a Product & Refunds

Our return policy is 30 days for US stocked products and 60 days for internationally stocked products. Please check the individual product page description for details on where a product is stocked, whether in the US or internationally. Once the return period has expired you will need to contact us to discuss your options for a refund or exchange.

If you are unsatisfied with your product for any reason you must contact us within the above return period to request an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation).

The RMA must be included with your returned product. The RMA number and a return address will be provided once we recieve your request. Upon receopt of your RMA please return the item to the address provided and email us back the RMA and the tracking # so we can track your returned items. Please do not attempt send return items to any other address than the RMA address that we provide you. We will not be responsible for items sent to unauthorised mailing return addresses.

You must return the Product at your cost to the address provided to receive a refund.

If the product is defective you have up to 60 days to contact us and arrange for a refund or exchange at no cost. This does not limit your statutory rights as a consumer as granted by mandatory laws and regulations.

We reserve the right to claim a 20 percent restocking fee for any "unwanted goods" that are returned. Please be advised if you are not returning for an exchange and it is not defective, the item is considered unwanted.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same new condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned, for example, perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept returns of products that are considered intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Additional non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products
  • Some health and personal care items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not return your product to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)

  • Book with obvious signs of use
  • CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If your return is approved for a refund, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or your original method of payment. Credit payments for may take several days to appear in your account. Please be patient. If you do not see a credit payment in your account after 5 days of the confirmation of approval of refund, please contact our support team.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you don't receive a refund, first check with your bank or credit card company before contacting support as your payment may be in process.

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at helpdesk@gimonji.com and we will reply with the address of our nearest depo.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Shipping

It is the purchaser's responsibility to pay the shipping cost for returning unwanted items unless the product is defective. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for the exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are shipping an item that is worth over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance as it is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that returned items arrive at our Returns facility safely.
